From Network to Reputation: How Albania’s ICT & BPO Ecosystem Is Making Its Voice Heard

Ten years ago, when we launched Armundia Factory in Tirana, Albania’s ICT landscape was still young, fragmented, and largely invisible to international markets.

Today, that picture has changed – not only in size, but in maturity and quality.
Albania has become a qualified, agile technology hub: small but solid, still little-known globally, yet highly competent and reliable.
An ecosystem has taken shape – one made of resilient companies and skilled professionals, capable of working to international standards and integrating seamlessly into complex business processes.

For us, innovation doesn’t just mean growth. It means growing with awareness, responsibility, and vision.

Representing an Ecosystem: A Shared Responsibility

In recent months, I have had the honor of serving as Coordinator of the ICT Group of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Albania, and later as Coordinator of the ICT & BPO Sector Group within Confindustria Albania.

These experiences have given me a broader perspective -not only as a CEO, but as part of a system that deserves to be recognized, supported, and heard.

Our sector is not defined by volume, but by value.
Not by promises, but by results.
And now, more than ever, we have the duty to communicate them.

The Companies That Give Shape to the Vision

Over these months, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside remarkable companies – different in size, history, and specialization, yet united by a shared goal: to create collective value and position Albania as a credible, qualified technology hub.

These are the companies that build our ecosystem every day.

They are the hands, the voices, and the minds that represent it with professionalism and integrity.
When a vision is shared, individual achievements become a collective reputation.

Building a Vision Together

Today, Albania has the opportunity to present itself as a digital hub of the Mediterranean – competitive, stable, and close to key European markets.
But its potential goes beyond geography.
Albanian ICT and BPO companies work daily with partners across Italy, Europe, the United States, and Canada, seamlessly integrating into global value chains with efficiency, reliability, and recognized expertise.

This network of international relationships proves that our ecosystem is not emerging – it’s established and evolving.
To strengthen this position, we need a systemic vision and an industrial culture that sees itself as one story – built on competence, trust, and responsibility.
That is how we become a credible and respected technology partner across the Euro-Atlantic region.

An Open Invitation

I address all ICT and BPO companies operating in Albania — those within our sectoral groups and those outside of them – who share the same belief in collaboration and shared progress.
We live and work in a small country.
And precisely for that reason, our strength lies in standing together.

A compact, open, and self-aware ecosystem can position itself as a strategic platform of quality for global markets.

If you share this vision, reach out.
Even just for a coffee.
Because every network begins with a conversation – and every conversation can become the start of something greater, together.
